Named after the first resident Bodden Town was the original capital and home to the oldest building in Cayman, Pedro's Castle in Savannah. Pedro St. James is the actual name for this plantation house and theatre, built in 1780, which became the birthplace of the islands' democracy on the 5th of December 1831.
